Okay, that's a little cruel. However, Arafat finally died last night after four long days of news reporting. He sank into a coma, rallied for a bit, but ended up with the only outcome imaginable. What gets me is why in the world the news media kept up the vigil. Would not the real story have been when Arafat died rather then when he was barely part of the breathing world? Slow news day, I suppose.
